As a Notary, I am commissioned by the Illinois Secretary of State to be an impartial and unbiased witness to the signing of documents .My job is to verify the identity of the individuals signing the documents then acknowledge the validity by placing an official seal and my signature on the documents.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION ARE REQUIRED
United State goverment issued identification. Drivers Licence, State ID card, Passport
I do NOT have identification
Legally a Notary may wave the Identification law if one is personally known to the notary
OR
(2) Is identified upon the oath or affirmation of a credible witness personally known to the notary; or
WHAT ABOUT MATRICULAR CONSULAR CARD OR AS ITS KNOWN AS THE CID CARD ISSUED BY THE MEXICAN CONSULATE
The document may not be accepted by certain Title companies. Based on the value of the document I will need to contact my insurace carrier to verify if I may notarize the document.
I am not from America, What can I do?
Please contact me in advance so I may ask the advice of my insurace carrier. I will only notarize documents my insurance carrier will cover. In America it comes down to what the insurace companies say.
